yeah with all the terrible events going on over in the eastern US,people losing their homes, jobs and family members(R.I.P.)you players and owners keep sqaubbling over what’s really important,YOUR MONEY!!

Read an interesting rumor that some owners are pushing a deal that would leave the existing cap in place for 3 years. The deal would see the NHL keep the salary limit where it was last season ($1.8 billion) this season and next season and every season forward UNTIL the NHL revenues exceed $3.6 billion, at which time the players salaries would then go to a 50/50 split of hockey-related revenues.

Seems to make too much sense to ever happen though………….

i been thinking for 3 months that deal 1 was the answer ( this is deal 1 )… freeze is the keyword

I don’t think that this has ever been brought up at least publicly.

Are these guys EVER going to meet again?

Talk about frustrating. Is the Kings’ legacy going to be that they are the last NHL team to ever win the Cup?

antkowiak666, with events around the world we need not wait for events to happen close to home to realize how fortunate we are. We the fans are taking this strike too personally. So what if we go a season without hockey, which BTW I don’t think will happen.
