Comments on: Players called Chicago charity game “pretty special”

It’s funny seeing the fans go after players for not negotiating.

So far not negotiating has seen either the two sides in a stalement or the owners make massive concessions from their original offer this summer.

What reason would the players have to “just negotiate” (ie. to force the owners into an agreement by making massive concessions themselves) at this point?

I concur! Stop this PR crap and sit down negotiate with the owners. Put your pride and emotions aside. Life isn’t perfect, it’s full of comprises.

Good intentions, but this isn’t helping to address the main issue.

You guys need to get back to the bargaining table, same as the owners. TELL FEHR TO EITHER ENGAGE IN NEGOTIATIONS OR GET THE F&@% OUT OF THE WAY.

-Stop worrying about PR. (We’re all disgusted with both sides anyway.)
-Stop acting like “it’s ALL their fault” (The NHLPA approved the cap circumventing deals they presented)
-Stop allowing pride to dictate negotiations.

JUST NEGOTIATE!
