In all seriousness, I’m actually not the person who first recognized Bettman’s little caper here for the “charade” that it is. No, that was in fact done by my old friend “Stransky” who is a brilliant physicist and an expert in forensic causation analysis. It was back in January when Stransky stated that a “contrived” NHL labor impasse would be forthcoming this fall, whose purpose was to cunningly camouflage a “hidden agenda” that included among other things, the “elimination” of October & November from the 2012-2013 schedule. At the time I didn’t give it so much thought, as I was completely caught up with our LA Kings and their glorious march to the Cup. It was during the summer however, that I came to realize what Stransky was talking about … and lo and behold, just look at where we are now, eh ?

Anyway, this morning I’ve again reviewed the data and re-crunched the numbers here and I’m still seeing a “magical” end to this charade being announced during the week of Nov 5 – 10, though it’s now possible that something will happen this coming week, possibly on Thursday or Friday ? We’ll see soon enough friends.
