there’s no denying of that … during the past 20 years the average NHL salary has risen “10 fold” from $255,000 in 1991 to approximately 2.4 million today … a similar upward trend applies to most of the other professional sports too … however there’s no basis or justification for today’s NHL players to be crying the financial blues …

Maybe the smartest comment yet! That and Guy “the flower” and now Modano. Do you really really think the players will get want they want? You don’t think those players that signed those huge contracts knew they could be null and void under new CBA? I am not taking sides, plenty of $ to go around for reasonable men, which we seem to be short of on botH sides. I want hockey!!!!!
