But keep in mind that he became the face (right or wrong) of the NHL at a very young age. We should see his interviews become less contrive as he gains more maturity. Ask yourself how you would have handled that pressure at such a young age. Me? Man! I would have probably been drinking to flee the pressure. He’s a good kid from a good family who grew up in a small town, played junior hockey in an equally small remote town, and then he was thrusted at the forefront of the NHL.
