The only concern would be jet lag. Plus, they wouldn’t ratify the CBA and start games the next day. There will be most likely be some days in between before games start.

wouldn’t it take weeks just to get all Tue NHL players back in the states?? Hypothetically, say they agree and sign a new CBA today… how fast could teams actually gather and be ready to play???
