I’ve been furloughed and no raises for 3 years also had my insurance premium go from 80/20 to 75/25 and the rich bastards are whining over spilt milk that we bought.Stop toying with us and just cancel the season. I will watch on tv next year but won’t purchase a a damn thing for a long time if ever Let’s go KHL on ESPN I hope the NHL collapses

I agree with Danny. The reality is all of these guys are rich, owners and players, I am not talking about the guy at the end of the bench. The average salary for the team with the lowest payroll in 2011 was 1.3M with the average salary for the highest paid team was 3.1M. ,and who are they all getting their money from? US! It is like this in every major sport now. They have to increase revenues ( get more money out of us!) so everyone can make more in the future. I just wish somehow fans could have a seat at this table. After all that is what they are fighting over is our money. There is no other way to state it!

I says see ya next year as in I’m not buying tickets, reg season or playoffs. And I hope a lot of other people do the same. The only people who really lose in the end are fans who support their teams. Their all still rich and get richer off our hard earned money. Simply tired of them already. Like 2 women bickering.

That’s right friend ! The PR “Hogwash” machine is running “full bore” and firing “beautifully” on all eight cylinders, leaving all the confused sheep in it’s wake, completely “baffled and bewildered”. Well cheer up friends, as our stage performance is now getting close to the final dramatic scene, where the villain (owners) will get theirs, thanks to the brave and noble efforts of the hero (Fehr) on behalf of the victims (players) … “all will be well” and the audience (hockey fans) will go home happy in the end !

Who is negotiating?

They drop off their relative proposal and ditch the room. That is not negotiating, capesouth…negotiating is sitting across from each other for hours on end getting sick of each other’s faces and finally compromising just so they can get out of the damn room.

And if they did that, we would be watching hockey already.

Man, people are so hot and cold on this. 3 days ago, it was ‘ya, there is going to be a season!’ and now it is ‘see you next year, they’re done!’ It’s called negotiating, people. They went from being on different planets to agreeing to 50/50 split (depending on other aspects of the CBA) and trying to meet a deadline in order to get a full season in. There is still a ways to go but that is called progress, whether people want to acknowledge it or not. Control yourselves! Look at it from a bird’s eye view in stead of reacting to every ‘breaking’ story.
