Yeah, and one of them was a joke that involved something like 25 percent salary rollback across the board. So, for example, the Wild signed Parise and Suter to 100 million contracts, but, wait a minute here, we can’t afford to pay them that much so we’ll just cut the players’ salaries by a quarter. That works, now they’ll only get 75 million. And we’ll do some more cutting in the next CBA as well. We might get them down to 50 million once their contracts expire. And it wasn’t just Minnesota signing players to contract extensions literally minutes before the last CBA expired.

Just pay them whatever you signed them for. Honor the contracts. I have to honor mine. Not to mention that I try to be a decent human being and keep whatever promises I make to my friends. What if I borrow 1000 dollars from you and I give you back only 500 because 1000 just seems too much? I’m guessing you wouldn’t be happy with that.

Take it, take it…last time the players didn’t take the best off they ended up with less, and we lost a season. My OHL (Saginaw) team isn’t playing well yet! Need an option.

Just do it damn it. Save the season. NO ONE would have thought we could get a full 82-game season. That would be absolutely FANTASTIC. Think of us fans for once!
