Thanks for the feedback. We do appreciate it. Maybe we’d have appreciated it a little more if it had been made a little less aggressively.
And I would argue the post wasn’t as useless as you think it was. The beef scare was a very big story in Canada and some people might find it interesting that it affected some well-known hockey guys. You don’t, that’s fine.

The absolute worst, most hockey content free story posted by PHT since the lockout began. It’s called constructive criticism from someone who uses the service you get paid for. Sorry for giving a damn. Is it so wrong to ask for better coverage of the AHL when stuff like this is posted for a (failed) laugh? Is it a shock that hockey fans want to read about hockey on a website about pro hockey?

It’s not like the lockout has given PHT writers extra free time to come up with better ideas for posts or time to leave three middling responses to my posts over the last three hours or anything…

Yeah, a “glance” at the AHL opening weekend is about all PHT has offered. Besides a few other posts, that is ALL the coverage you are giving to that league. The second biggest pro hockey league in North America. Which contains all sorts of NHL players and draft picks. And one of the few college hockey posts that was covered by an NBC network, too. Bless your company heart!

The great NHL beef scare was important, though. Right?

The AHL is pro hockey. And since the NHL is locked out, silly me, I thought PRO HOCKEY TALK could cover it a bit better than they have been. It makes sense that an attention whore like you, who posts You Tube videos that take up as much space as five regular people’s comments, would side with a guy who posted an article about a beef scare just because he had a bad joke to go with it.

There are hockey games going on all over the place. Sure, not NHL games, but actual hockey that you could be writing about. Hell, a lot of them feature NHL players or NHL draftees. Posting worthless junk like this-for the sake of a weak Devellano joke, it would seem-is going to ensure that people will look elsewhere for news about the sport.
