After taking a couple days to cool off, the owners and players are going to meet again.

John Shannon of Sportsnet reports the two sides have agreed to have a bargaining session on Tuesday. As for what they’ll talk about, where it will take place, and who will do that talking – that remains unknown.

The two sides spoke earlier this week and, as you might recall, things didn’t go all that well according to both Bill Daly and Donald Fehr.

The question about this upcoming Tuesday meeting is whether or not core economic issues will be discussed by the two sides. Their meetings recently have seen everything but money come up. Perhaps it’s time for a change.

It’s nice to see them take another weekend off. It’s not like the season is passing by or anything. Lock these SOBs in a room until they figure it out. Go Gophers!

It’s time for the media to QUIT covering Hockey talks. They do not care about you they only care about your money. So when and if the lockout ends DO NOT purchase anything except your ticket. Nothing that will add to the HRR pie. Lets watch them split up nothing! Go to the eating establishment before the game, do not buy Centre Ice or anything inside the rink. If we don’t purchase anything they have nothing to split up!

Boycott the NHL, Boycott the Winter Classic. Prove to the owners and players that hockey fans are not to be tread upon.

Over 8000 at the AHL game in Hartford let ALl of the minor leagues fill the stands prices are cheap and it is a good brand of hockey

  18. timmons94 - Oct 15, 2012 at 6:14 PM

Kalfut. Amen. Good product. Affordable prices . When if the NHL returns 1 of the 2 will exist. Pens ticket prices r insane. Basically 65 for top level. The good seats are 3 times that I am guessing

  19. timmons94 - Oct 15, 2012 at 6:16 PM

Still sad to see no NHL in Hartford. But we have NHL in Phoenix. Florida . Tampa and Nashville. None of those near as good a fan base as Hartford was
