As a result of this latest insult to, we the fans of the NHL, I have spent my last dollar to attend an overpriced game with overpriced beer. Gary Bettman has got to go if the NHL is going to survive. What a complete moron this guy is to preside over two lockouts in just a few short years and driving a marginal sport down the drain in the process.

because the NHL sees so much profit from EA sports on their game sales. Pff, come on. You either buy NHL 13 because you want to play it or you keep NHL 12 and play it for a few years till you get the new copy.

MLB playoffs, NFL, go to some AHL games, watch college hockey, work on my skating, brew and drink more beer. The NHL will come back eventually and I will miss it until it does but there are other things in life that are enjoyable too (that last part is aimed straight at the representatives of the players and owners).

Ill be watching the New York Giants, New York Yankees, and Notre Dame football. I would be watching these anyway but now ill just watch even more nfl and college football than I already do.

I will be watching football and getting my hockey fix going to the USHL games here in Indy. But here is what the NHL needs to hear….. I’m taking the approximately $1000 that I saved on tickets to see the Penguins in Columbus and Nashville and spending it elsewhere!!!

I will be watching NFL, CFB, and CBB in the absence of the NHL. But if the NHL isn’t back by the time March Madness for CBB is over I will be pissed. That would only leave the dreaded NBA sportswise until MLB and NASCAR starts back up.

Americans get televised hockey. ESPN 2 or 3 has KHL.

And you have the internet, so streams are always a thing.

I’ll be watching more NBA. Got into it during the playoffs in an attempt to prepare for the lockout. I knew the season timing was roughly correct. I’m gonna miss fantasy hockey like hell

I will be playing XBOX 360. NHL 13 gives me my hockey nitch for now. Since I get paid zero if I don’t win anything and yet I love the game. This is becoming a problem in all sports. Money is the root of greed. We have owners who want more money and we have players wanting more money. Funny thing is that small market owners, who no doubtly knew what type of market they were getting into. Yet they do it anyway, complain, cry, and whine, when the bigger markets get what they want. Then you have the players who no doubt cry, whine, and complain, when they feel that they shouldn’t give up anything if everyone is supposedly making more money through the years, but want them to keep paying out the same, because they’re making more. Fact is the only place on the planet where hockey contracts are guaranteed is in the NHL. The NHL is also the only place in the world where you’ll get paid when you’re suppose to. Both are in the wrong and both need to stop this. Players should come down around 51-50 % or even go to 49% and call it a day. The owners will be happy and the players will still make a lot of money for doing something that’s fun and a great job to have. Soccer is becoming the fastest growing sport in the United States and those players make a fraction of what hockey players make. Yet that’s a league that has it’s players and owners all trying to get to the same goal. Most of these big time sports need to wake up before they become a thing of the past. There’s just so many times professional athletes and millionaire/billionaire owners squabble for money that the average fan would love to have a fraction of. Not to mention the popularity that comes with it. So off to play NHL 13 for fun and hopefully to make a few bucks a long the way.

It may not be a sport (yet), but I have been devoting more of my time to watching monkeys in rodeo gear riding dogs. In an effort to promote this pseudo-sport (despite already more popular than the NHL in the U.S.), I encourage others to look up “Whiplash the Rodeo Monkey”: you won’t be disappointed.

I’ll be watching the NFL and another sport with much of the speed and collisions of the NHL—Roller Derby.

I’ll probably be checking out the Indoor Lacrosse as well.

I’ll check out more college hockey provided its on the ESPN stations. If its on NBCSN, forget about it, I can’t pay more for adding more cable channels and I’ll have to wait for the Frozen Four.

I live in minnesota there is plenty of hockey to watch. The best high school hockey is in Minnesota. plus we have 6 D1 college hockey teams (counting North Dakota). Hell, there is even a junior pro team in my hometown. I have plenty of hockey to watch. I just wish I could watch the Wild with Parise and Suter.
