I don’t think pundits or fans ever mention his name amongst the top power forwards in the league. If anything he’s underrated. He scored close to 30 goals last season and has incredible toughness (like when a puck almost destroyed his face in warmups then he went out and scored two key goals). And he’s not much bigger than that German guy.

The kid is one of the best young power forwards in the game. I expect him to do a lot of damage for the Flyers over the next few seasons, and give opposing fans plenty of reasons to dislike him, but skin color is an idiotic one.

But if that kid can figure out a way to put on 15-20 lbs (he’s strong now, imagine if he wasn’t rail thin, 6’2 183 would look much better as 6’2 200), without losing much in the way of speed, he is going to be a problem for the rest of the league.
