    It’s a wake-up call all right: For fans who spend their money on this joke of a league no matter how many times they get dissed by management and players. Business people only understand the bottom line, so if all fans (casual and hard-core) can control themselves and not reward the NHL when/if they ever play hockey again perhaps this would be the last lockout. But if fans come back the second the season starts then the NHL will take full advantage of that once again. Get wise and make your anger count: By voting with your wallet.

    been a canes season ticket holder for 10 years. getting my money back in December (earliest they will release our hard earned money). I think the league and players take the fans for granted. only worried about themselves
