Talbot can hit a puck with a bow and arrow

Sep 30, 2012, 3:42 PM EDT

People have to stay busy during the lockout. Fortunately for Maxime Talbot, hockey isn’t the only thing he’s good at.

He also seems to have a fair amount of skill in the archery department, as he recently demonstrated by shooting a puck out of midair. You can see it for yourself below:

“If I aim like this on the ice, I will score a lot of goals,” Talbot tweeted.

As it is, he set a career-high last season with 19 goals in his first campaign with the Philadelphia Flyers.

File this under news we occupy our time with while we wait for the players’ union and league to agree to a new CBA.

    I love this guy, lol

And not with one of those whack, $15,000 bows you see “professional” archers use. That’s old school gear there

There isn’t a $15,000 bow that any pro uses. They are like $1000 for the bow.

Yeah, I’m gonna call fake on this one.

Although I’m tempted to shoot a hockey puck with a bow now, just to see if it would do anything other than bounce off the puck

These videos are pretty cool, but everyone is aware they are promos for the new Assassin’s Creed game right? In the last video (1 finger push ups) you can see the symbol in the American Flag on the wall. The fact he is wearing the same hoodie and using a bow is the give away on this one. Game comes out at the end of the month.
