I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners are comparing the 2011 NBA lockout to the NHL lockout saying “the NBA didn’t lose too many fans neither will the NHL”. When it comes to life long fans, like myself, they very well may be right. But, what about all the newer fans that haven’t developed an emotional investment in a team?

3 lockouts in 20 years in not excusable. Buttman is the worst GM in any sport ever. I’m so pissed I want them to suffer for this. I hope the NHL loses alot of money!

Obviously the owners and players learned NOTHING from the last work stoppage. Lets hope the fans learned something and will boycott at least part of the schedule when the two sides come to their senses and return to work.
