The nets actually were in a position to become contenders oer the next few years. But decided instead to make a “competitive” team to try to bring in fans for the move. Of course, they won’t win anything for at least 5-6 years with this core, but they should be fun

Man, someone tell this guy the Blue Jackets are poised for a Cup run. If he thinks the Nets can win, he’d probably buy it. And then possibly them. Whatever might get Scott Howson fired, right?

There are two possible options involving Barclays. If the Isles are to be a long term tenant, Ratner may be willing to reconfigure the arena to build capacity. The other possibility would be that Barclays is a short term answer while another arena is built in Uniondale or Queens.
