Ok blumkin, or what ever you call yourself. Pleas we plain how plural using your teams ONLY. Championship translates the rear of us into sheep . I would also like to point out that by asking others to ” take up a musket and fall in” are you yourself now trying to recruit the very sheep you are mocking. Cause that would make you a hypocrit as well as an idiot!!

I don’t think Bettman is going to allow a season this year at all. Dragging it out by cancelling blocks of games only strings us along with false hope. If not then they would be negotiating every day versus not at all. That’s his management style. What bothers me is what his role in all of this is. He is the Commissioner of the league, not the owners. He might be management but that is a term that should apply here differently than it does at a corporate level. He should have an interest in BOTH sides. Commissioners are not company presidents. They are by definition “of or pertaining to an office or public trust”. It is not the same role as a corporate president or CEO. The NHLPA has a representative negotiator (Fehr). Why don’t the owners? Why is Bettman siding with them and negotiating in their behalf? Shouldn’t they have a negotiator as well with Bettman facilitating an agreement between them? He should be actively having everyone talking all the time forcing the TWO sides to an agreement. He might feel that is what he is doing but the perception is it is him ve the players. Guess he knows where his pocket change comes from.

Good times to be a kings fan? How can you pluralize one championship? Just remember the the sun eve shines on a dogs ass sometimes, that’s what really happened !! Just remember when the banner goes up ,it’s all in the past from then on! Who knows maybe you do it again ….. In another forty plus years !!

The owners are the ones to blame in all of this. They are the ones signing the players checks from the contracts the players signed that were agreed upon by them and the owners and they want to take away from the players. What about the fans if it wasn’t for our money there wouldn’t be an NHL.
Oh yeah and the owners seem to forget in between the last lockout and this one an additional $1billion dollars was made in revenue. I mean really now you have got to be kidding.

NIGHT OF THE LONG KNIVES ?

I doubt it. More like a meeting involving Bettman, Der Fuhrer and a bunch of conniving rats ! Yeah, yeah, we get it you clowns. The season’s going to start by the US Thanksgiving Day weekend holiday and those 6 x “sorry ass” US-based franchises which you’re so worried about are going to get a reprieve after all. At least for another 12 x months … blah, blah, blah !

But hear this friends !

If you’re disenfranchised by all this crap and you’re not “married” to a team, then you might want to consider signing on with “our” team, the “glorious” Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings ! We’re the “best” there is in the business and we don’t just beat teams, we “annihilate” them ! I can tell from firsthand experience that it’s “good times” when you’re a King’s fan ! Regardless of whatever they throw at us, be that a Sister, a Hitchcock or a Doan, we Kings “always” come out on top at the end ! Right now during this current lull in the action, we LA Kings are now “reforming” in preparation for another march to the high ground. Yes sir ! So grab yourself a musket there friend and “fall in” with the rest of us … this is going to be fun !
