What are you smoking? The lockout has nothing to do with anybody's right to vote. What are you saying, with the old CBA MTL didnt have the right to vote so now theres a lockout? I really cant figure out your logic. Furthermore, though I only said the word practice, my statement meant everything else involved with there not being a lockout, not just practicing. You completely missed my point because of semantics. Maybe you should take your own advice and go read a book.

It's not about being able to practice, dumb dumb, it's about Montreal's right to vote when the time comes and a potential new CBA is on the line. Philly fans and Ranger fans should profit from the time off and read a book or two!

So much time and energy spent on this Quebec nonsense, instead they can be negotiating a new Cba. So if this dates set for Oct. 2nd, that means, we know for sure there won't be any negotiating the whole rest of September. Very good.

I was wondering where this story went. Thanks for the update JB.

As for my two cents, I reiterate what I said the last time this story was posted before the lockout...its laughable that they think a local labor board has any jurisdiction over the rest of the NHL. They have no authority to tell every other team they can't lockout their players because its illegal in Quebec. Honestly, what's the best the QLB can do?? Tell MTL they have to allow their players to practice like normal and then what?? Scrimmage themselves?? There you have it folks...the 2012-13 NHL season will consist of intraquad scrimmages between MTL White and MTL Red. See what I mean? Its laughable because no matter what the QLB decides it still will have zero impact on the rest of the league.
