Also that is because the owners are responsible for this lockout. Players were willing to play with the current CBA until new one is done and owners said no thanks.

All of the millionaire SCABS are going all over the world and taking paychecks away from lower level athletes and thinking nothing of it. I’ll bet the NHLPA would be up in arms if the NHL owners decided to bring in “replacement players”!
Why don’t the owners just bring up entire AHL farm teams to play the NHL schedule until the fat cats get tired of the buses, trains and raggedy airplanes. If I remember correctly last time, many of them became quickly disenfranchised with reality!
