Vis and his agent have both said repeatedly that it has nothing to do with the Islanders and that he’d be happy to play for them. I have no reason to not take him at his word. Problem for the Isles is that if the season is a wash, they still have to give up that 2nd rounder in what promises to be a deep draft. Isles have many reasons to want this lockout to be a short one. Vis is just one more.
