Trust me friend, these “fabulously” wealthy NHL players hardly spend their time reading “poor man” posts like this … and so it should be our right to have some fun at their expense. What I detest however, is when these commenters attack fellow commenters with direct and hurtful insult. That in my opinion is the truest sign of human ugliness & cowardice. Nonetheless, the NHL should be taught a lesson this time around and I suspect that they ultimately will. Both owners and players alike are equally culpable for this mess and therefore the eventual financial punishment must be handed out 50/50 accordingly. God may indeed act in mysterious ways at times, but “act” he always does. I see the season commencing in either late November or early December. If they go beyond that, then I fear that the damage to the game will take a generation to repair, if it can ever be repaired ?

Agreed! Well! Except for the name calling. We the fans must unit. Short of empty buildings, we must hit them where it hurts. We can’t save the game because we came back, and then be used as pawns by either side.

Hopefully this lockout can go on indefinitely … and when they do eventually return to play, hopefully it will be in empty buildings … perhaps then these pigs will finally understand …
