so, bettman has his THIRD lockout… yet is still commissioner? how the hell does that make any sense? the only way it makes sense is if they’re fudging the numbers and aren’t losing as much as they claim to be. and i really can’t see how they’re losing as much as they say they are.
i’d love to see ONE owner open the books in ANY pro sport. they’re all crooks.

Lakefront homes aren’t cheap. I see the greedy millionaires folding before the greedy billionaires. Everything the players are fighting for will be lost in the event of a strike. And same goes for everything the owners think they’ve helped build. This strike will only drop the league value and revenue, leaving no one as a winner in the battle for revenue. If they think they will not lose fans, then they are stupid. Both sides suck, I don’t care what anyone says. It’s good to see that loyal hockey fans are still awesome though.

I was a season ticket holder for the Avalanche and I am miserable when hockey is done, I opted to not renew my season tickets simply due to the fact that I was worried there wasn’t going to be a season and now I am thankful I didn’t renew. This is the best way any NHL fans can voice their displeasure. This hurts the NHL in the pocket books!

indeed. wish season ticket holders would have refused to renew this year. everyone’s seen the lockout coming for ages.. and that would be a method of protest that could actually make a difference.. unlike these folks and their signs..

Owners, players = greed in its ugliest form. I am really pissed at all of them. Wish they could spend the day in the avg. Joe’s fan hockey shoes, and live the life we do. We love the game and ultimately are the ones who support all of them. If you buy a jersey or any NHL anything you are as big as idiot as them. Where can the fans make a stand.
