I haven’t followed the talks too closely, but back when the players announced Fehr would be their rep, it worried me. Seems he made a mess of baseball when he represented their players.

Good job Gary you have managed to be in another lockout because of mostly your bad business decisions. To try to put hockey in the south where pro sports take a back seat to college. I do not feel a bit sorry for any of the ownership that is only trying to screw there employees. Every time I see Bettman spewing out his BS it is embarrassing that I’m a NHL fan with an idiot at the helm. There is no reason that they are not talking non stop. Stop taking advantage of the fans.

At the very least… why not keep the league going until at least opening night. Talk until then. No wait, owners wanted a lock out. Saves the southern teams from losing more money. Meanwhile everyone else loses from fans to arena workers and all else who depend on the NHL for business.
