I hate Subban and have loved watching him play for the Habs and hope the Flyers aren’t thinking of trading anything more than prospects or draft picks. Subban does have an upside of being young with some experience.
Why do they say the Flyers will likely start the season without Pronger, Lilja, and Mezsaros? Is there some chance one of them will be ready if there is no lockout? If that is the case, why trade for Subban?
I think the word likely does not mean what you think it means.
Maybe you should say highly unlikely that Pronger will ever play again, or that Lilja will play before December, or that Meszaros will play at all unless the Flyers make it deep into the playoffs.
