I think we would see playoff type hockey in regular season if they went to a shorter schedule. The main problem with hockey scheduling is playing hockey in June.

You spelled Philly wrong. Anywho, Timmo is beat up. He needs all the rest he can get. A condensed schedule wouldn’t bode well for wily vets like himself. The upside is that the Flyers are relatively young across the board and the condensed season should be favorable. The same parallel can be drawn from the Sixers and their youth.
