I think eaves is the type of guy who if u give him more playing time he’ll produce a lot more points

I don’t think anybody wants to end a guy’s career like that. Sure in the heat of competition people can let their tempers get out of hand but that isn’t what happened here. I would expect no less of any decent human being.

Eaves is a solid guy and I really hope he recovers sooner than later, even if that means the Preds go up against him sooner. Good on Josi for giving Eaves a word on the way out too, he’s a good kid.

I hated this for both Eaves and Josi. A big recovery for Eaves to make it through and who knows how he’ll really turn out given his family history. And in his first game, Josi is the one that hits him on a regular hockey play that we see all the time, especially on the power play, and it just went all wrong. He made a very classy move to approach Eaves; especially given the rivalry of these two teams.

Good luck to Eaves and I hope to see you back at it, but good to hear your at least back on the ice!
