and 43 reasons why the dispute needs to get resolved. Imagine if there was a lockout last year when this happened and 3 or 4 active NHL players were on that plane, such as Ovechkin, Sid, or Malkin, all of whom have said they’re going to play in the KHL if there’s a lockout. That’s not to slight the men who tragically lost their lives but you say it puts it in perspective? I think it magnifies it!

I still have my “Love for Lokomotiv” band that was sold as donation at the first game of the year at some NHL arenas…haven’t taken it off. It hit home for me because of the “hockey family” feel and having met Pavol.

I remember sitting in class and reading the news article on my computer. Hard to believe its been a year already. RIP Lokomotiv

Horribly sad and tragic. I remember being very upset siting in class when I read the news.

That was a sad day 4 hockey fans every where, I remember I was so shocked and sad when I figured out demitra and salei were on that plane
