god i hope so. I see the whole lot of them taking under market value. the only one who may look for more is marchand. Though i think he’s appreciated more here in boston than he would be elsewhere.

And btw he is used for momentum as well as his scoring. One lost fight ever with over 40 fighting majors. Hartnell has never won one.

Lucic is a much better player than hartnell with all due respect but with all the players the Bruins need to resign i say he takes less to stay in Boston. He loves it here and is going to do the same thing soupy and kelly did so the Bruins could resign tukka. Lets remember they need to sign both seguin and rask. Lucic is gonna take less years and less money to stay with the Bruins.

I have just been searching through the 2011-12 roster of the Boston Bruins and I can’t seem to find an entry for a “Dan Phipps”. What number did you wear last year? I am willing to go out on a very long limb here, and guess that you don’t have any clue whether Lucic is good in the locker room. He seems to be loved by his teammates. Keep your uninformed speculation to yourself.

Hartsy has good two-way presence. Does Lucic offer that? As far as I can recall, I’ve never seen him used in a defensive role. And then there’s the locker-room side of things. Hartsy’s a key leader for the Flyers. Lucic isn’t. He’s a lot younger and has higher possible upside, but Hartnell brings a more complete game to the table.
