Yea, no way I’m bitter. Richie’s game was liked by most, if not all, in Philly. Carter was a one trick pony but Richie had an all-around game. It is what it is. Glad to have Lil Wayne Simmers (like that isn’t obvious ha) and Baby Schenn here in Philly.

I’m a Flyers fan and I’m happy for Richards. I never bought into the fact that he was the problem. If Flyers had goal-tending in 2010 they would have won the cup easy with Richards as the captain so I don’t buy into all the crap that he wasn’t ready to be a captain.. I still love the return the Flyers got for Richards.

Your numbers are way off. Get a clue, moron. The Kings just won the Stanley Cup. Of course there is continual interest on the part of Kings throughout the summer, why wouldn’t there be?

That’s right…it was a huge hit to lose both Night Train and Schenn in the trade, but it did pay immediate (and obvious) dividends for the Kings, and will pay huge dividends as well for the Flyers in the future.

Both teams benefited.

As a Flyers fan I always liked Richards and I’m glad to see him win a cup. He was put into a Captain role too soon and is a good player on a good team not a franchise player like the Flyers made him. Congrats Mike.
