Sorry, Lucic doesnt dive, he is a monster but sometimes he is just too aggressive and throws pretty flat out cheap shots. Not saying I wouldnt want him on my team, just saying he is dirty, then again, my favorite player is Harntell so I like the style

In Doughty’s 3rd year he made $3,475,000. He his stats dropped in his 2nd and 3rd year although he was still a great talent who did not have stellar seasons. He show a great deal of maturity ( and did less partying) in his 4) in his 4th season and his inspirational play helped lead his team to win the Cup.

Subban has a ways to go to and some growing up to do to be on the same level as a player as Drew Doughty. Some will call Doughty selfish for his holdout but that is history. What counts is what have you done for me lately. There is no comparison.

You’re leaving out a lot of relevant facts about those historical statements hockeyflow – like how Bill Russell had Boston “fans” break into his house when he was on away games and defecate in his bed, or how black Red Sox players had the n-word vandalized on their automobile.

The fact is, I don’t know a ton about MTL (visited 1x when I was 9), but I’ve been in BOS the last year, and trust me – people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Max P actually was a decent signing $-wise.

Habs man, if bruins fans talk trash about dirty play, diving and crap like that, just tell them about Marchand and Lucic. The guy whose the best diver and ducker in the league, and the guy who could have been suspended about 6 times in a calandra year… Drop the race card. It just looks bad. Both teams have some great players and some that people have fun calling out every week… That’s what makes it such a fun rivalry to watch from the outside.

5.5 mil over two years? If I were PK I’d giggle at that offer. Doughty makes more than a that each season and I don’t think Doughty right now is THAT much (dollar amount per year seperation) you better than PK.
