It’s awfully easy to pile on and just say that the Blue Jackets are going to be awful, that they have no future, or that they’re a joke of a franchise. Look more closely and you’ll see a developing and talented young defense, some depth of players who can score some goals, and potentially a young starter in Bobrovsky. They’re not a playoff team at this point but they’re building the right direction and they will not be a push-over this year. The acquisition of Dubinsky and the character he brings will make teams earn their wins over Jackets.

Well, I have been following this since day 1 and there didn’t seem to be any coherent order of teams analyzed…was it just random?

Pick a piece of paper out of a candy jar, and say, oh today is CBJ day?

As a Jackets fan, trust me, there is no greater damage this board can do than what the organization has already done. Howson and company have dragged a marginal franchise to depths not seen in the NHL before. Even the L.A. Clippers have dredged up SOME form of mediocrity…..

Well, no matter how bad the Nash trade looked, at least Howson got SOMETHING for him. The same can’t be said for former Wild GM and Gaborik.

Soon, fans will need ‘Straight Jackets’… blue, white, or whatever color.

Howson rightly should be wearing a ‘Flak Jacket’ with all the well-earned criticism-shrapnel flying around.
