You Luongo apologists think that the world is a “doll house” and that it’s all “play” money … well more wrong you couldn’t be ! Anyone who signs a $64 million dollar contract for twelve years and then quits on his team after only two years in, is not only an idiot, but a complete loser ! An ode to Luongo and his new role on the Canucks …

The sarcasm, wit, puns, irony and funny pictures here at PHT are like the special “seasonings” which make a great meal “great” ! All you guys do a great job, though I will say that comrade Dadoun “knows the deal” best, when it comes to discussing our glorious LA Kings !

Now I’m on record here for not liking Luongo and his selfish ways, etc. But man, talk about a “low blow” from Halford, eh ? … “Luongo is an “NHL-calibre” goaltender” ? Holy crap, the Luongo lovers and apologists are sure to go “ballistic” when they see that ! At any rate, this is just another testament as to how far Luongo’s stock has fallen this past year. Only two years ago, he was still being referred to by his admirers as the “best goalie on the planet”. Yet today, people like Halford are now calling him just an “NHL-calibre” goaltender ? His fall from grace has been truly breath-taking and absolutely unbelievable. But again, no tears from me. The man is lavishly wealthy and he’ll continue to be that way for the rest of his life, thanks to Mike “Einstein” Gillis …
