Damn right. If they aren’t willing to take care of the medical bills then they deserve to be sued. He doesn’t deserve a big payday, but he deserves to get his medical bills taken care of.

You know why we have nets over the glass in the end zones? Because teams got tired of paying medical bills. It’s what they do, no matter what’s printed on your ticket. Remember Brittany? Columbus paid for her medical expenses. Perhaps if Adam died that would be worthy of getting your medical bills paid.

What does the amount of $ he makes have anything to do with it? Hes also a radio dj so he does make $ from a different avenue if that is at all is relevent. First of all theres something called insurance for cases like this and im sorry but did you just compare being slingshotted down the ice to flying? Apples and oranges. Theres risk in alot of things in life but should we sue everytime the worst case scenerio happens because we dont want to take responsibility for our own decisions in life?

This dude is a dumba$$. Common sense would tell you there’s a risk for injury, and he still did it. That’s no fault of the Preds. Yeah he didn’t sign a waiver, that’s there downfall. I guess they figured like the rest of us, he would have realized the danger of it. Not to mention they padded the walls he ran into and gave him a helmet. What kind of ankle did this guy have before he did this?? A normal one that required screws after slammin into the wall…….suck it up and stop crying over 25K. I’m sure if this guy is a radio personality, he’s pulling in some serious money to not worry about 25K, so get over it. All the radio personalities around here make great money, i’m sure he doesn’t do too bad down there either.

It’s a pretty clear case, IMO. He was slung across the ice on a sled by a slingshot. Is it forseeable that he could get hurt doing it? Yes it is and he did. If they weren’t savvy enough to have him sign a waiver beforehand, then they’ll probably lose. Whether or not these types of lawsuits should be conducted is another issue. The way it works now, you have to assume everyone is an idiot and need to be treated as such.

I’ve seen a warning label (Warning! This product was made in a peanut processing plant!) for people who have an allergy to peanuts. Seems logical, until you realize that it’s on a bag of PEANUTS!

Did they force him to do it? He’s not their employee so why are they responsible for his injuries when they provided bumper walls and a helmet. Did you read the reasons why he’s sueing? Because the predators didn’t make him sign a waiver saying ” hey this might be dangerous”. Probably because they thought like everyone else that the risk part is understood.
