I personally was extremely impressed with manning, I know it was only 4 games but he showed to me he was ready to rock it in the NHL.

I thought the bourdon who briefly played in the playoffs before getting hurt performed very well. He appeared to have offensive confidence and nice shot from the point. I believe he is ready to be a productive everyday NHL defenseman.

Phoenix would want a premium for Yandle and rightfully so their defense is very strong 2 forwards and another piece would have to come back if it happened.

Tired of hearing about this J*e*w*boy Yandle , what’s this guy ever done that warrants a blockbuster trade or a kings ransom in return? , heck I wouldnt even want him on my team just cause of his silly last name alone.

This hurts no doubt. But i like the young kids. Still i see Homer making a trade, which i am ok with as long as its for a long term solution and not some older one rental. Mez could be done for good with an injury like this.

I think the smart move is to turn to the youth and let them develope. If you trade for someone like Yandle you are going to have to sacrafice young talent that in a few years is really going to pay off. If you can find a cheap deal for a player then go for it, but if not I say why not see what you have in these young guys. So far Bourdon and Gus both look like they have the potential to develope into solid defenseman.
