Are you a Buffalo fan? Becasue I am, and I have no problem calling out the other fans in Buffalo. Most are clueless. Go back through the majority of Doan articles, and you will see atleast 3 Buffalo fans stating that Regier needs to make this move, and if not he should be fired. Or that Buffalo has a recruiting problem because guys like Doan won’t play in Buffalo. Well, I have news for you, I don’t want Doan, even if he was asking league minimum. ( ok, maybe a bit of an exaggeration.) This roster is not a superstar away from being a cup contender, they are a solid consistent season away from a cup contention. How many teams that “Win” the offseason win the cup? This team has tons of chemistry, why mess with it for an over the hill, glorified grinder, whose asking for the world. Trade for Ryan? I can get behind that, but signing Doan would be the worst move since letting Briere and Drury walk. Who cares if I’m classy, I don’t, I want my team to win, and most of the other crap I read from Buffalo fans like “TerryPegula” and “Billsmafia” is some of the most illogical garbage coming from any commentor on this site. Whats really funny is their handles, #Buffalomafia was coined this season, and Pegula has been here for 2, where were these guys during the 2-14 season? Or the Non-Playoff season’s of the Sabres? You obviously don’t know Buffalo, so stay the heck out of my “Digs” at my fellow “fans”.

I don’t think the Kings are going to pay him 4 years, $30 million. Most people seem to think he is more in the $5.5 million, two years range…that’s quite a bit of disparity from what Doan thinks his value is, and what teams may think his value is.

Agree with every point you make. He wants way too much. A 2 year deal or 3 max would make more sense. And definitely not at 7.5 mil. 6.5 max. I see him ending up in Vancouver if anywhere, just because of his connection to Vancouver. Plus it makes more sense he played his entire career in the west that he would sty there.
