The reason it’s so quiet is because everyone is holding their breathe and hoping there is a season this year. It would suck to have all this excitement then never see the team step on the ice!

Go back and read any Wild/Yeo post and you’ll see that I actually like the guy. The FACT the Wild owner Craig Leipold seems to have a short temper about losing and the FACT he just spent 196 million on 2 guys suggests to me that the Wild better make the playoffs or there will be changes at the top.

I’ve been a Ponder guy as well. Every rookie, okay the majority of rookie QBs struggle their rookie year. On top of that, Ponder didn’t have an off season program at all showed he was alright at times, shows he can play in this league. I still think he’s gonna be an above average quarterback.

Derrick Williams, you don’t have to worry about anymore since him and Ridnour have been allegedly traded to Cleveland for Anderson Varejao

Seriously stop with the Mikko Koivu bashing! It gets really old and not fun anymore! A captain does not make up a whole team and he is one of the best players that I have grown to watch ever since we drafted him here. Heart and soul of the team! So back off! If you can do better go ahead! But just because he is not putting in pucks and getting huge numbers does not mean he is not doing his job! So annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm, even if Yeo weren’t successful no organization would start looking at replacements at this time. I like a lot about him, and we will see how he handles having a team with Legit NHL talent.

It’s quiet and will continue to be that way as Captain Invisible will continue to fail to live up to the heavy expectations placed on him. Have fun being frustrated with him, Wild fans. Enjoy the honeymoon while it lasts.

I hope they wouldn’t fire Fletcher, guy has done a great job rebuilding the franchise.

Yeo, I could go either way on. I think he can be a very good coach, but he also seemed to mishandle a few of the vets last year and just seemed to grind on some guys too much.

I’d start looking at a replacement for Yeo. If the Wild fails to make the playoffs again, I can see Leipold either give Fletcher the chance to hire an experienced head coach or he will find someone who will. Definately plenty of pressure this year for Fletcher/Yeo
