Not sure it’s fair to say “he doesn’t have safety net”. Khudonbin is no Rask (as in a backup), but he’s serviceable at the worst and a top prospect at best. Certainly better option than Marty Turco. In his one game he held Sens to a lone goal. Not too shabby.

Good soldier. He says all the right things and sounds genuine saying it. I like Rask going into this year as it was only a few years ago when Thomas was hurt that he was one of the top goalies. He has more experience now, a ring, and some incentive to have a bust out year. Go B’s.
