It’s good and bad. Those games against meh opponents can be half-empty until halfway through the 1st. Not end of world, and can’t complain that all the games are sold out. But still, nice to have place rocking to start games.

I don’t mind the earlier start in terms of being able to get home earlier after the game, but he does bring up a good point. If a person gets off of work at 5:30 or so, it doesn’t always allow a ton of time to get to the arena. Once you figure in traffic, parking, etc. I’m not familiar with the traffic dynamics in Dallas, but I’d have to assume that they aren’t great during rush hour.

Pros and cons to both, but I personally prefer the 7:30 starts. I’d rather be an hour early to a game than 2 minutes late.

The Bruins switched to 7pm years ago and it was the best thing they ever did. Perfect time for pre-game drinking/eating and I’m on the road heading home after the game usually by 9:40. Love that half hour headstart.
