PHT’s Morning Skate takes a look around the world of hockey to see what’s happening and what we’ll be talking about around the NHL world and beyond.

As the NHL and NBA schedules currently stand, the Florida Panthers and Miami Heat will be playing at home on the same night a total of nine times next season. (Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel)

Nassau County is searching for developers for the Nassau Coliseum site. However, some builders are concerned about the project’s potential profitability, especially seeing as they don’t know what New York Islanders owner Charles Wang’s intentions are. (New York Newsday)

He is at the CBA negotiations to protect his 15 year turkey contract!

He’ll probably suffer a season ending shoulder injury picking up a glass of water.

I swear to God, Allah, and Jesus himself if they make Nabokov the backup I’ll kill the management myself!

    VOULEZ VOUS

The sooner the Islanders are sold and relocated to Quebec City, the sooner it will be better for all. There’s simply no getting away from it … Wang is a mental case, his contracts are “idiocy” defined and the people of Long Island no longer care. Both Seattle and Quebec City should be in the NHL today and God willing, they “will be” before long ! :)
