I think Bowman's best move is by making fewer moves. His history is suspect, and I think the hawks are better off staying where they are rather than letting him try to move players.

With prospects coming up through the system, hopefully they'll fill in some of the roles that were lost after their crowning season of 2010.

no doubt Crawford needs to improve, he had very respectable stretches of games, but that losing streak and other performances are the ones remembered.

Sharp had his best season playing center in 09-10, not sure why he wasn't even considered for the spot last season.

Hossa's noggin' will definitely affect the hawks' season. if he's out for chucks or games or longer that hugely impacts their greatest strength, offense.

With a new assistant coach behind Q, they'll need to sort out their PK/PP performance, which really cost them a lot last season.

Despite their first round exit, and deceivingly low conference seed, they had a very successful regular season. considering how terrible they were on special teams, such uncertainty in goal and missing Toews for more than 20 games.

With the Central Division losing some big names, many might think Chicago will have a chance to improve on last years performance, but that will remain to be seen, as they have plenty of improving to do.

Healthy Hossa is critical.

That said, Kane still has a college 'kid' mentality. Time to GROW UP Patrick.

Not if they don't improve over last season's horrendous GA/PP/PK numbers. Yikes.

No one wants this. We want another Franchise day on PHT. SoupCanSid clearly has done something of importance that we, the SCA as well as hockey fans in general, must know about. What did he have for breakfast? What color hair did the girl he ravished last night have? Did he apply enough Chapstick? Common PHT, get it together.
