C’mon buddy…the Stanley Cup occasionally gets a few nicks and might get mistakenly left behind but he has never looked like this. That is a total lack of respect for a trophy meant to represent the top junior team in Canada. Take it away from them and don’t let them display it.

Unfortunately I don’t think they do, BUT if this organization ever wins the Memorial Cup again David Branch and the CHL should refuse to present the cup to them nor should they be allowed to take it, give them achievment ribbons instead, or better yet the team should be banned from competing for the Memorial Cup for 5 years.

This seems worse than when the Spokane Chiefs accepted the Cup a few years back and it promptly broke apart and fell in pieces to the ice!

I’m sure the cup takes a beating very year! the stanley cup pretty much breaks in half every summer and it gets fixed every year. let the boys enjoy the win.
