Homer said he spoke with Poili on Sunday. Now the Prem to be moving on to other business. It the Preds thought it is easy just to match the offer sheet, they would have done it Thursday or Friday. Just seems the longer it goes on, the more he is a Flyer.

Preds have already lost out on Suter, good but not elite d-man who complimented Weber well, and could lose Weber. Yes, the contract is largely front loaded and there isnt a CBA, but I do believe it’s imparitive to match Philly’s offer. One: Great Defenceman. Two: Captain and leader in Nashville. Three: We do have promising blueliners, but they are young. The Predators need him, above all else.
