You mean every NHL GM is stupid? Because every single one of them have not bothered to offer him to anything substantial.

I just love this type of posting.

Why is that? Why have I been right about Semin from the start? Because Im stupid and everyone in the NHL is stupid, or perhaps the it’s the other way around….

I don’t care what he does his plus minus is better than datsyuk….people are stupid to not sign him…if he wants to float around…that’s fine cause he has been doing it the last few seasons while managing to be a plus player, third in the league at that

It is my opinion that Ken Holland is a very wise GM,his work with the red wings has been just great and I for one trust in his moves.I believe that signing semin would not fit detroit,s best interest at this time and feel that the rookie they signed out of the swiss league may be the best signing of all.Pavel will make him even better than he was in Europe.I know this will be a rebuilding year for Detroit,but that is the price for always having a competitive team!GO RED WINGS>

Not defending what bertuzzi did at all, but when i look at the video of what happened, it appears to me that the punch did damage, but the most severe damage happened from #11 on the avs (Can’t tell who it is) jumping on top of Bertuzzi and moore. Thats just my take on it, maybe bertuzzi did cause most or all of the damage on the initial punch, that we probably will never know. But just imagine if Zetterberg had sustained a concussion and broken vertebrae from Weber slaming his head into the glass, he would’ve been forever vilified, whereas now its mostly blown over. Again, not saying its not bertuzzis fault, it was one of the cheapest plays ive ever seen. But if moore had been out for a month and returned that would’ve blown over as well and nobody would think about it anymore. I guess it all depends on perspective and what did happen versus what could’ve happened, but thats just my two cents on it

Semin should absolutely be signed b tw Wings the second Doan is off the market.

The guy has shown he can light the lamp and has one of the top +/- among elite forwards the past 4yrs. The claims that he is lazy and irresponsible are unfounded and blown way out of proportion. Looking back any team that doesn’t sign him will wonder why the hell not. Datsyuk+Semin would be electric!

Todd Bertuzzi actually finishes his checks and can perform in the playoffs. While Semin doesn’t do either of those 2 things.

Looking at some of the Reports that Doan is very close to signing with the Yotes, and Semin will be go to the Pens. Leaving the Wings with a lack luster Free agency.

I swear, anyone who suggests the Wings would consider Semin is perfectly insane. At any price, he will never play for the Wings. I don’t understand the disconnect. Holland has never signed a player like Semin….ever. And Babcock’s system and style requires something that Semin has failed at for the past 4 years. I mean, my God, this is Mike Babcock we are talking about, he would healthy scratch and cut Semin’s ice-time to 6 mins so fast it would make your head spin.

Someone please name me the last useless without the puck, bad defending Winger Holland has singed in the past 15 years?

Name me one winger that Holland who has gone out and picked up who has a history of questionable work ethics and heart?

Is it because Russia wears red like the Wings and something about that makes sense? Because nothing about the Wings, and the people in charge suggests it does.

It would be nice to have either, but won’t cry in my scotch if not.

Wings 2012-13 season is rebuild, reload, reposition. Doing that primarily from ‘within’ is optimal.
