You sound like your name, nickellbag. Everyone makes mistakes, but that’s why you can apply for a pardon for offences that would deny you entry into a country. Or he could have not driven after drinking.

I’d much rather have higher penalties for drunk drivers than the similar position the US has on drugs. Drug offences – even minor ones – can deny a foreigner into the US. I can understand for trafficking and the like but if the US wants to be tough on drugs, then we can be tough on drunk drivers.

If anything US laws for DUI are not strict enough when your putting peoples lives in danger. They take your license away and then the person just drives without a license the next day.

I assume he is not a Us citizen. Didn’t Khabby get a DUI a couple years ago in the states when he was playing for Edmonton and even served some jail time. I don’t remember him missing any time.

Canadian laws suck when it comes to DUI. A friend and I where on way to a fishing trip (to spread his fathers ashes) north ofThunder Bay and were denied entry because of my friends DUI 5 years earlier. Dui is a felony in canada. Just a bunch of “eh” holes.

I hope for the Jets organizations sake this isn’t true because you are not allowed in Canada if you have a DUI….at least US citizens are not.
