@sergeikremlin As a wings fan myself I have to say give your head a shake, Brodeur proved this year he can still play at an elite level, unlike Holmstrom who’s seen better days. Holmstrom will go down as one of the best net presences ever to play the game, but when its time to retire its time. However Brodeur still has at least 2 more seasons if he can stay healthy and give up a few more games in the regular season to his backup..

A true specialist. Nothing but respect for Holmstrom, whereas a guy like Avery I have no respect for. Much like Brodeur, I would prefer to see him either hang them up or go one more year with the Wings.

He’s not going back to the Wings. They aren’t going to take up a roster spot for a guy who would pretty much only play on the power play. I don’t see him going elsewhere but ya never know. Hope he retires a Wing.

If DET doesn’t take him back and he still wants to play… Maybe he will sign with another team… Like the stars, since it would be one of the younger signing this offseason for them ; )

He isn’t going anywhere. If he isn’t going to wear the winged wheel this year, then he will hang it in the rafters. I’ll miss watching him play.

But it will be sad 2 see him go, if he retires there will be no one left on the wings roster who was from the 90s era wings

Ok look holmstrom will either retire or stay in Detroit and from the looks of the wings roster it looks like he’s retiring. He won’t go anywhere else
