Toronto? He’s friends with Franson, but not as close as he was with Suter.

Smart money is on Vancouver though. Maybe Minnesota, but I doubt it.

Weber might like to play somewhere there’s a better chance of winning the cup, for more money, with a team that has just a “little” more offense, and doesn’t have to bear the night in and night pressure of trying to be at the top of his game. I.e. some better defensemen to play with to take some of the pressure of him.

Between whiners complaining about losing Parise and Suter and the moron(s) from the Soupcan Army Of Girth, this place needs as many people willing to actually talk about hockey as it can get. Without Wild fans, many comment threads from the last week or two would have contained nothing but bitter name calling from NJ/NASH fans and the endless barrage of insults that Pittsburgh and Philly fans toss at one another.

But when there are no mods or real quality control, it’s hard to expect more. I guess that’s why most fans choose to post elsewhere.

Fletcher wouldn’t be dumb enough to trade for him if he is set to become a UFA. Poile will not trade him during the season and again, we are right back to where we started…

Besides, you do know how much $$$ / trade assets, it would cost to get Weber, NO THANKS.

A guess at the price it would cost to get Weber ….
