That’s an odd remark ? While I’m on record here for rejecting Luongo’s selfish and petulant ways, never once did I ever suspect him of being a poofster ? Regardless, it’s now a “given” that he and Yormark will meet up there in Vegas in-order to finalize details … and the Canucks should be thanking their lucky stars ! It’s only because of us LA Kings that they’ll now finally be set free from the yoke of this man’s greed !

While all the speculation is fun to listen to and add to (especially in the offseason where there is not much happening), I have to say I was a little skeptical this meeting was with Luongo in the first place. This is a (potential) trade we’re talking about. Why would the Panthers be meeting with Luongo himself, especially when Florida is already a preferred destination of Luongo’s? It’s not like they need to convince him to come there. Plus, aside from agreeing to waiving a no-trade/no-movement clause, players do not hold a hat in the process of working a trade. That is for the GMs and other front office brass to figure out.

Luongo is not a great fit in fla! They would need a playoff performer not a choker! I’m actually a fan of luongo but that guys reputation is well earned
