I don’t think even those two make the Wild a true championship competitor. For their sakes I hope so because Minn can’t afford to add any other pieces at this point.

i would argue their depth…more like very front loaded, and underwhelming even..the corpse of danny heatley up front with koivu, setoguchi, now plus parise. after that the forwards are below average 3rd liners..clutterbuck maybe..

Very classy indeed and I wanted Suter in Detroit.

However, Suter banking on a very deep Wild lineup, not a bad decision… if they deliver.

another smart and classy move by the organization. Suter really made a mistake. Mr. I always takes care of his players past and present not to mention the Wings are always contenders.

I’d rather have him as a Red Wings player next season but I’m sure he will make an excellent scout.

Nick brought the best out in his team mates and shored up weaknesses.

I believe he’ll not only identify good talent, but will be strategic in filling line holes.

He was the best defensmen, one of the captains, and one of the top players in the league, he’ll make a great scout
