Semin and Doan would be great with the wings, semin paired with datsyuk would work like magic, and Doan is just what the wings need, a physical guy who can still play the game

Bob McKenzie from TSN tweeted a few days ago that Shane Doan was spotted in Edmonton a few days ago. He was also seen “visiting” with Oilers executives. He is from Alberta and the Oilers did just win the draft lottery and the Schultz sweepstakes.
If they don’t resolve the Coyotes situation soon, it becomes easier and easier to see him leave, and finishing his career at home might have a lot of appeal. Please don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just mentioning what Edmonton news is reporting.

I have a hard time believing Doan would want to be a Red Wing after they knocked him out of the Playoffs twice. I think he would be a good fit there though.

Doan to the Pens makes a lot of sense. They need a top winger and he would come cheaper than that other guy they wanted. Doan wants a Cup and he has a good chance of getting one if he spends a few years there.

Would love to see Doan and Semin in a Winged Wheel, Doan’s drive is something we’re pretty desperate for, and Semin could be a force with Datsyuk or Zetterburg setting him up/ being set up by Semin.

Would love to see Mueller go to the Bruins. Between him and Horton that would be 75-80 healthy top 6 games. I think people forget just what a dominant player Mueller can be.
