		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m glad to see that Chevy is making a FA splash (even if it is with medium size stones) but internal needs still have to be addressed. Evander is not going to stay a RFA for long. He is talented, young and an awesome commodity both on and off the ice. WE need his pen on a medium to long term contract so the future of OUR team is one of contender NOT pretender!!]]></description>

You could argue the Canucks have tried to get better through Garrison, and whoever they pick up for Luongo. You could argue the Oilers got better with Nail and Schultz. You could definitely argue the Wild just got a lot better with ZP and Suter. You could even argue Colorado got better just by having their young players developing. 

But I have no clue what the Flames are trying to do. Get better, get worse? Go sideways? Good luck, Flames fans.]]></description>
